Amazing food places in Paris that you have to try!
1.) The Hardware Société
If you’re a fan of bomb brunch with a view, you’ll love The Hardware Société!
This restaurant sits at the top of a hill near Sacré-Cœur in Paris, so you got a view and good food! What else could you want?
Everything from the food presentation to the cozy atmosphere inside is bright, clean, and inviting.
Be prepared to wait if you come! A must-go spot if you have time and aren’t in a rush. If you come on a weekend, expect to wait at least 30-45 minutes, but it’s worth it.
They put love and care into every dish they put out, and you can definitely taste it.
My sister and I ordered:
-Pork Belly & Fried Eggs (Poitrine de Porc & Oeufs au Plat)
-Fried Brioche (Pain Perdu)
-Baked Eggs Un (Oeufs Cocotte Un)
The owners are from Australia, so it was interesting to see the combination of Australian and French cuisine fused together.
Definitely not a traditional Parisian breakfast/brunch place, but this is what sets The Hardware Société apart from all the other restaurants!
The dishes may seem a bit unconventional, but the flavors are exceptional! Truly a brunch to remember!
We were able to get seated by a bay window with a view, so it made for the perfect start to our day strolling around Paris.
The restaurant tries to utilize every single square inch of space available, so if you happen to go, get ready to become REAL COZY with the party sitting next to you.
Location:
10 Rue Lamarck, 75018
2.) Little Breizh
The best galettes and crêpes you might ever find in Paris!
Their menu selection boasts numerous combinations of various cheeses, vegetables, and meats for their signature galettes; and each galette comes with a mildly dressed side salad for the perfect accompaniment.
I would also recommend you order one of their ciders as well! Nothing like a light, crisp cider to pair with your meal to give you the feeling of being in Brittany.
If you save room (and I suggest you do), try one of their dessert crepes! They’re amazing!
3.) Noglu
For those looking for French cuisine flavors but can’t have gluten, this is YOUR PLACE!
Noglu’s menu is completely gluten-free (something that is very hard to come by in Paris), and they even offer numerous vegan options.
I ordered the croque monsieur, and considering the French LOVE their gluten, this was very satisfying and tasty.
Noglu is beautifully maintained and just an overally gorgeous, bright, and inviting space to brunch (or lunch) with friends on a nice day.
They have a great selection to choose from ranging from savory vegan burgers to sweet, delicate pastries (all gluten-free of course)!
4.) Glace Bachir
Glace Bachir is a traditional, organic Lebanese ice cream shop in Paris that serves amazing ice cream with a twist.
They offer a lovely selection of flavors, all mildly sweet with the ability to add on their signature pistachio coating to add an extra crunch to your cone.
At Bachir, I ordered the rose petal ice cream with the pistachio topping. The rose flavor was not overpowering at all; Bachir finds the perfect balance of floral and sweet notes tied together with some fresh, crunchy nut pieces and a bit of whipped topping.
A great place to stop by for a cooling and refreshing mid-afternoon snack!
Location:
Rue Rambuteau 58
75004 Paris
France
5.) Le Village
Paris is a melting pot of so many different cultures, so it’s a great place to try foods you wouldn’t normally have the chance to.
I’ve tasted a lot of AMAZING food in my life, and this has to be one of my favorite meals of all time.
Le Village specializes in Senegalese cuisine, with every dish PACKED with different flavor profiles.
Every dish is seasoned to perfection with their array of special house spices and their meat is so tender it falls off the bone effortlessly.
My sister and I came here expecting some good food, but we weren’t expecting AMAZING food. This place now holds a special place in our hearts just because of HOW EXCELLENT this food was.

86 Avenue Parmentier, 75011

6.) Pomze
APPLES APPLES APPLES…
Every dish (appetizer, main course, dessert) contains apples!
They have a HUGE selection of apple ciders to accompany your meal as well.
This restaurant is a little pricier than the other restaurants on this list, but you are paying for the service, ambiance, and quality of food.
This place is also Michelin Guide Selection restaurant!
Location:
109 Boulevard Haussmann, 75008
7.) Le Grenier à Pain-Abbesses
My ABSOLUTE favorite place to get pain au chocolat!
Their pain au chocolat is the absolute FLAKIEST, CRISPEST, MOST SATISFYING thing ever. Seriously, you have to try it!
There are numerous locations all over Paris, but I believe the location near Montmartre is by far the BEST.
They have the freshest breads, croissants, quiche, and baked goods ever!
I’m sure that whatever you order from this place will be amazing because they are constantly baking fresh goods! Once you smell the baked goodness they are cooking up you’ll want to get one of EVERYTHING.
If you’re in Paris, this is one of the places you HAVE to go!
Location:
38 Rue des Abbesses, 75018 Paris, France
