Healthy, easy baked oats recipe that tastes like a warm slice of banana bread!

Preparing the Banana Bread Baked Oats
Spraying your pan with nonstick spray is vital to ensuring your oats don’t get stuck to the pan!
Once you pour your blended mixture into the pan, top it gently with the remainder of your banana. I like to slice mine into circles, but feel free to slice the banana vertically! Anything works! You can even save the remainder of the banana until after the mixture bakes, so you can have fresh slices of banana on top!
Garnish your prepared mixture with some chocolate chips! I like to use sugar-free chocolate chips, but feel free to use any chocolate chips/chunks/chopped chocolate you may have on hand.

Banana Bread Baked Oats
Ingredients
- ½ cup oats gluten-free if necessary
- ½ banana about 100 grams
- ¼ cup vanilla protein powder plant-based if necessary
- ¾ cup milk of choice I used unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 2 tbsp peanut butter powder I used PB2
- 2 tbsp maple syrup I used sugar-free maple syrup
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 pinch salt
For garnishing:
- ½ banana about 100 grams
- ¼ cup chocolate chips
- walnut pieces optional
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350° Fahrenheit and prepare a 6-inch circle pan with nonstick spray.
- Blend all of the ingredients in a blender until the consistency is smooth and homogenous. Pour into the prepared pan.
- Slice the other half of your banana and place gently on top. Garnish with chocolate chips.
- Bake for about 23-24 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and let sit for about 2-3 minutes before enjoying!
