Healthy chocolate baked oats packed with protein and fiber!
This baked oats recipe is a great healthy idea for breakfast, a midday snack, or even dessert.
I’m always trying to make new recipes that will keep me full and satisfied for hours. The oatmeal and protein powder in this recipe work great to keep me satiated for hours until my next meal.
Double Chocolate Protein Baked Oats
Baked oats that taste like dessert! Great for breakfast, a snack, or a dessert. Chocolate oats topped with chocolate chips
Servings: 2 servings
Equipment
- bullet blender or blender
- 2 ramekins
Ingredients
- ½ cup oats
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (plant-based if necessary)
- ½ banana
- ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
- 2 tbsp sugar-free maple syrup (or regular maple syrup)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp cacao powder
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 2 tbsp chocolate chips (dairy-free if necessary)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350° Fahrenheit.
- Add all of the ingredients except the chocolate chips into a bullet blender. Blend until the texture is smooth with no lumps.
- Pour the mixture equally into 2 ramekins and top each one with 1 tablespoon of chocolate chips.
- Bake for about 20-22 minutes or until completely set throughout.
- Wait about 2 minutes for the ramekins to cool before enjoying!
