Vietnamese Iced Coffee (Cà Phê Sữa Đá)
My take on how I like to make Vietnamese iced coffee! Sweet, creamy, and loaded with lots of caffeine!
Servings: 1
Calories: 65kcal
Equipment
- Vietnamese Phin (Vietnamese coffee drip filter)
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Cafe du Monde Coffee and Chicory
- 1 tbsp sweetened condensed milk (adjust depending on how sweet you like it)
- ½ cup boiling water
- ice
Instructions
- Start boiling your water.
- Add one heaping tablespoon of Cafe du Monde Coffee and Chicory to the filter. After, screw the top part of the filter on by twisting it until it is tight and the coffee doesn't budge underneath.
- Add your boiling water to the very top of the filter. Cover with the top cap of the filter and wait for your coffee to drip.
- The process can take quite a while, so be patient! Once all the water has dripped and formed into coffee, stir in your condensed milk until it's all combined with the coffee. It should be a beautiful light brown color.
- Feel free to add less than or more than 1 tbsp of condensed milk depending on how bitter or sweet you like your drinks.
- Finally, add in plenty of ice and enjoy!
Excellent post. I definitely appreciate this website. Thanks!
